Easy Ambience Privacy Policy

Easy Ambience is published by DJ Grossman, LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to Easy Ambience on Android, iOS, and Windows. It lets you create and play ambient soundscapes. Easy Ambience does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, or other personal information directly in the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store settings, preferences, playback choices, saved Mixes, and related soundscape information in app-private local storage so it can remember your choices and restore your experience. This information is used for app functionality and is not sent to DJ Grossman, LLC. Depending on your device and operating-system settings, local app data may be included in backups provided by the platform.
Support Communications
When you choose Email on the Contact page, Easy Ambience prepares a message that includes the app version, platform, operating system version, and device model to help with support. You can review or edit the message before sending it through your email app. If you contact DJ Grossman, LLC by email or through a linked contact form, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond to your request. Support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide support and maintain business records.
Advertising
Android. This version of the app may display ads through Google AdMob. The GMA Next-Gen SDK used on Android may automatically collect and share information including your IP address (which may be used to estimate your device's general location), user interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers, including advertising identifiers where available, for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
The exact data collection and use may depend on your device, region, consent choices, app configuration, and Google's SDK behavior. Google states that data collected by the GMA Next-Gen SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
iOS. This version of the app may display ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as your IP address (which may be used to estimate your device's general location), crash logs, other diagnostic information, performance data, device identifiers, advertising data, and user interactions.
On iOS, if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, the device advertising identifier may be used for personalized advertising and advertising measurement.
The exact data collection and use may depend on your device, region, consent choices, app configuration, and Google's SDK behavior.
Windows. The Windows version of this app does not currently display ads and does not use Google AdMob or Google's User Messaging Platform.
Advertising Privacy Choices
Advertising privacy choices, when available for your region and configuration, can be managed from Settings > Privacy > Data Preferences. Easy Ambience uses Google's User Messaging Platform for those advertising privacy controls. In some U.S. states, these choices include the ability to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising.
On iOS, the User Messaging Platform privacy manifest also declares collection of approximate location, performance data, and app interaction information for app functionality. Google declares these UMP data types as not linked to you and not used for tracking.
Data Retention and Security
Easy Ambience stores its own app data in app-private storage provided by the operating system. Saved Mixes can be deleted in the app. Other local app data is retained until you change it, clear the app's data where the platform supports that option, or uninstall the app, subject to any backups maintained by your device or platform. DJ Grossman, LLC does not operate a server that receives or stores this local app data. Data collected by Google for advertising is subject to Google's retention, deletion, and security practices.
Third parties that receive user data through Easy Ambience, including Google, must provide the same or equivalent protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable platform rules. You may request deletion of personal information you have provided directly to DJ Grossman, LLC, such as support communications, using the contact form below.

Easy Ambience Terms of Use

These Terms of Use describe the rules for using this app. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Permitted Use
You may use the app for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable app store rules. You may not use the app in a way that interferes with the app, attempts to bypass app or platform protections, interferes with advertising or privacy-choice systems, infringes another person's rights, or violates applicable law.
Ambient Sound Use
The app is provided for ambient sound, relaxation, focus, and similar uses. It is not medical advice, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional care. The app is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Safe Listening and Equipment
Easy Ambience can produce continuous audio. Listening at high volume levels, especially for extended periods, can cause permanent hearing damage. You are responsible for choosing a safe listening level and using appropriate audio equipment. Excessive output levels may also damage connected audio equipment. The app's limiter is intended to control excessive signal peaks; it does not guarantee a safe listening level or protect hearing or equipment.
Ownership and Licenses
The app, its design, branding, original content, and original sound-related materials are owned by DJ Grossman, LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code from, or remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices from the app, except where applicable law gives you a right to do so. Open source software and third-party components remain governed by their own licenses.
Third-Party Services (Android and iOS)
This version of the app may use third-party services, including advertising and privacy-choice services. Those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. More information is available in the Privacy Policy and Third-Party Notices.
No Warranty
The app is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranties are made that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, DJ Grossman, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the app.
